Join the Royal Cornwall Museum for an evening of quilts and conversation with those behind the current exhibitions; Pulling the Thread and Threads of Survival.

Hear from John Smith and Amanda Allan, researchers behind Pulling the Thread exhibition, and Steve Carne the curator and coordinator of Threads of Survival project and exhibition.

The event will take place at the museum on Thursday 30th June from 6pm.

About Pulling the Thread:

An exhibition exploring the life, travels and memories of Lady Graves Sawle, a pioneering and unconventional Victorian woman. On display in the exhibition is a late 20th century quilt made by Rose Graves Sawle, as well as her personal diaries and other objects. Lady Graves Sawle published sketches form her diaries, wrote poetry and subverted female norms by turning her hand to design and photography.
