A good place to begin is the Royal Cornwall Museum. The museum tells fascinating stories through their exhibitions and collections, whilst also giving visitors an insight into Truro’s past. The museum is home to an extensive mineral and mining collection, which is one of the best in the world.
In all four corners of Truro, you will be able to glimpse the three spires of Truro Cathedral. Its stunning Victorian stained glass windows are some of the finest in the country, and its Gothic Revival architecture will be sure to impress you.
Whilst visiting us, you can even explore your own Cornish connections. The Cornwall Family History Society can help trace your family tree and find your Cornish roots.
